Yeah so it's still a bit early but we all love the polls, right? Very interesting. Doesn't mean a damn thing but interesting.

Interesting poll Nigal. Six months ago, I figured McCain was unstoppable. That was before he came out in favor of escalation and started cozying up with those Dominionist types.

Climaje de Fenez and his less athletic brother Digunda will have a 2000 supreme ending and couch potato favorite Digunda will win in a sandlide.

We all know Hillary's stand on gun control. For those not familiar with Barack Hussein Obama's position:

Principles that Obama supports on gun issues:

Ban the sale or transfer of all forms of semi-automatic weapons.

Increase state restrictions on the purchase and possession of firearms.

Could this also thread also be filed under, "It's never to early to piss and moan." Refering to the discussion of politics in general and not a party in particular.....honestly.

Yeah I don't see any of the democrats that have stepped up being friendly to gun rights. I think the biggest single thing that will happen if the democrats win the white house is that they will run into the arms of the UN and cry, "We're sorry! Please take us back! We'll do anything!".

LOL I remember in 1978 the LEADING Republican was BOBDOLE. The Liberal media had him head and shoulders above the dark horse a guy named Ronald Reagan.

I love polls two years out. Especially when you consider the questioning methods. Luckily we are not a Democracy but a Republic....(but then how many people really know that?)

O h for sure. They don't mean jack crap as far as the final outcome but it is interesting to see what's on American's minds. Things always change when the press start digging in their dirty underwear draw and find stuff and then during the primaries when everyone is cutting each other to ribbons.

I am telling you make every person elected have to read EVERY FREAKING WORD OF EVERY LAW THEY PASS..and then pass a test with 70% to stay in office.

So when Senator Foghorn passes some crap legislation he now has to learn the legislation, the effects and the sponsors....(LOL) now THAT WOULD BE entertaining.

Same for the President..you sign it you have to know WHAT it was.

Make a deal....we push for a "none of the above" selection on the voting ballot...then if that wins all the pols running have to exit politics for two terms of the next office.

BTW - may I impose on my true american brothers and sisters (ie, those who don't feel the need to wear or put decals of the American Flag on thier body or car), to get out there, register republitard and vote for Brownback. Heck, I even donated $20 to his campaign, and now I can't go a day without a "Jesus Camp" Invite or Deja Vu Strip Club invitation in the mail. Ahhh, the price of patriotism.

.....45 and running for Mayor of the City of New York in 1989 or was that 98?

Too bad Vile tried to pass it off as a present day speech.

....but I am glad he seems to approve of Rudy, the next President of the USA.
...Hillary will be crushed to know that Vile isn't 100% behind her skirt, LOL.

Good. Poor women should have access to funds that would put them on par with everyone else with regard to the decision to abort.

That said, I don't favor women using abortion as birth control, so methods to stop repeat users from getting pregnant should be part of the package.

Well that just flys in the face of the irresponsibility crowd. The really scary thing is if you read Margret (I THINK) Singer who was the original huge proponent of Abortion. Read a few more of her articles. She saw abortion as a way to keep the "lesser breeds" in control.

The sad thing is that abortion is not used in the lower classes it is most often used to prevent "unwanted complications" in some person's life.

You mean Margaret Sanger. And yeah, she was nutty. But I believe she also advocated prevention of pregnancy as a way to limit abortion.

edit: Yep, here she is promoting personal responsibility regarding abortion, as do I:

(Wikipedia) She wrote in a 1916 edition of Family Limitation, "no one can doubt that there are times when an abortion is justifiable," though she framed this in the context of her birth control advocacy, adding that "abortions will become unnecessary when care is taken to prevent conception. (Care is) the only cure for abortions." Sanger consistently regarded birth control and abortion as the responsibility and burden first and foremost of women, and as matters of law, medicine and public policy second.

Trouble with reading comprehension or lying?

So Rudy 1989 was for public funding of abortion. Has he changed positions?
