Ramble in the Kettles 4/13-4/15

“A few of us are getting together for our annual "Ramble in the Kettles" trip that Firebug started a few years back.

Description:
Friday night, camp out at shelter #5 by Greenbush Kettle (parking nearby just north of the shelter) Arrive anytime. I will have brought wood in for a fire beforehand.

Saturday, hike 10.21 miles to shelter #3 off of Division Road in Dundee. I will have wood cached here also.

Sunday, hike 4.65 miles down to Mauthe Lake campground entrance where parking is allowed.

Shuttles will be done Friday night, always a breeze and after hike refreshments will be at the Crocodile Bar in Dundee across the road from a home and historic mill just redone on the show "Home Makeover" this past November.It's pretty neat to see (and so out of place). The bar is not nearly as nice, and should probably be knocked down itself, but it is now tradition to stop in after hiking. It's not cool to mess with tradition.
