Flint, MI area
Does anyone know of a place (2 hrs?) "close" to the Flint area to BP?

Thanks. J

Manistee River is great but also close to home are:

Waterloo/Pinkney Trail - though not so remote.

Hoist Lakes 20 miles both loops, multiple campsites. Some mild ups and downs on the North side.

Jordan River Pathway, 1 loop 18.7 Miles
Hills, river, quick getaway. Pinney bridge campground gets busy with car campers though.

Get yourself the book: 50 Hikes In Michigan, Jim Dufresne - be inspired. I moved from Michigan a little over a year ago and miss the proximity of good overnights.

Michigan Trail Atlas will show you everywhere there is to hike, mtn bike, ski, etc in MI. It's an outstanding resource.
