Now we need aboout 100 more inches :)

I was having so much fun shoveling and playing in the white stuff today I wish it would dump a whole lot more! I made a snow fort in my yard :)

The boss actually told me to go home earlier because Northwest Indiana apparently has been shut down because of the weather.

looks like the FYAO trip is going to have enough snow this year - the only question I have is whether they will be able to get close to the trailhead in their vehicles - back roads might not be plowed for a while

Crazy weather this afternoon.... a great opportunity to test the rainwear. Wild clouds skipped over the lake from Lincoln County to McCormick County, SC. Tornado warnings reported in Soccer Liner. I just got in --- need to check the local news.

We had wicked rain and lightning storms the night before last, a decent rain shower last night, and I'm doubtful we'll get any precipitation this afternoon or evening. I'd love to have a week of nothing but steady showers, like a tropical wave or trough, just parked over the whole region, for at least a week.

It was weird Sass. Around the same time as the monsoon, there was a tree that put off these fuzzy seed pods that drifted like snow and then there was this prolific spider infestation. HUGE mothers too. There were ginormous spider & webs in every nook & cranny. Very surreal.
