Im broke and need a new pack
So here's the deal. I have less than 100 dollars that I can afford to spend on a new pack. This is a problem because I need something around 5000ci and any good internal frame packs that i know of cost around $150+. I have been looking around and a brand "High Peak" by simonx sports jumped out at me. They have all the same features of higher cost packs and cost around 70 bucks. Any ideas?

Come up with a female trail name, pose as a girl. Inevitably Stovestomper will come running and outfit you with whatever you need.

Here's one for just under $100

Also, I have an L.L. Bean Appalachian Expedition Pack that at this point I doubt I'll ever need that kind of space. I'm not sure of the ci but I know it's at least 5000, maybe more. I can't seem to find any info on it (it's discontinued).

Academy Sports has a Kelty internal frame at about 5000 ci for $100. I got one a year or two back for trips with my kids. So far, so good. I don't know where you're located, but Academy is a chain in the SE.

Are you male or female? I have a gregory pack used about 3-4 times. I've since moved on. It's a small I think. Fits me good and I'm 5'2. Send me an e-mail at the address on my profile and we'll talk. I'd send it to you for the cost of shipping if you think it would work.

Here's a thread from when I got my big Kelty. It turns out it's called the Big Bend. If there is an Academy Sports in your area you should be able to pick one up.

STAY AWAY FROM WAL MART! THEIR GEAR IS CRAP!

I would try Campmor or eBay. Campmor has some really good packs from 60 dollars and up.

a pack arount 4500ci, hopefully internal frame. im about 6"3' and needs to fit a 17 to 18 inch torso. and i only have around 70 bucks to spend, so used is great, but i would like it to hold up for a while so i can use it more than 2 or three times.

The Kelty packs are great packs for the money. I helped a buddy pick one out and it was about what you're looking for. $120 at Gander Mountain.

Nothing wrong with Jansport. They might not be the lightest or have all the bells and whistles but I am sure that alot of the people on this board started with one or had one at some time.
