“that fish is insane. did you photoshop that? i hate to say, but i don't know how much folliage we're going to have. i still really want to go on this trip, but life has been uncertian. see how the money comes in the next few weeks. working for tips is uncertian. i do want to go. but i'm moving this month, and anyways, i'll see how the money is. i also fuk'd up my knee. hard to walk, it should be good by then. it would be nice to see a large turnout. i had an amazing camping trip about a month ago that makes me want to live in the woods indevintely. i'll explain the campsite more in detail later. but my friends and i had entire lake/7 primitive campsites to ourselves for the entire weekend. how many people can you fit on a cannoe? how many beers can you drink in a weekend? a lot i say, alot.”

“I'm driving over that Friday from Drummond, Wisconsin and I can park my three rows of seats Ford Expedition at the end point if someone can give me a ride to the starting point. That way I can give up to six other drivers back to their cars at the end of the trip to save them the time of additional shuttling.”

“pros, i am driving up friday morning early so i can pick you up at the end point. it's a long drive, 8 hours i would think, so I am guessing i would be arriving around 5 EST at the latest. does this work?

randall, i really want to get there before dark so if it turns out you can leave early AM rather than PM let me know and you are more than welcome to ride with SC an I. I am taking my pickup so it will be a comfortable ride.”

“my truck can easily seat four. it's a silverado 1500 with the extended cab. we can throw all the gear in the back. the back is open so i'll bring a tarp. i was thinking of leaving before 8am. again, i am not sure what time SC can make it up here. i offered for her to spend thursday night on our sofa so we could get an early friday start. so randall, hubcap, spirit coyote, and I would make four...

my village doesn't permit overnight parking on the street. so we would have to park the cars so my wife can get her car out during the weekend while I am gone. I don't think this will be a problem.”

“JimmySans, it would make more sense for me to be one of the first two people to the end point where the two of us could get a ride to the start point from the third person who gets there. If we know who all that would be, then all others could save time and drive straight to the start point. The end point has space for only two cars or so. The start point has a lot more parking spaces. Thus, I could give as many as six people rides back to their cars at the end of the hike.

“that sounds good pros. i guess i need to get busy... i have been a little lax on the planning front. i'll work on a third vehicle. if we have your truck and my pickup we can haul 11 people + gear back to the trailhead in one go. that might be a record...
