A quick check of the NAGS (National Association of GALS) shows their site is devoid of any reference or comment.

I remember during the 90s' and the CLEENTOn administration when the GALS sent this hilarious petition around demanding protection for the rights of women in Afghanistan (granted their hero the 42 President was raping and molesting women at this time). Well the Afghan women were released from the Taliban, not by "good vibes, and feel good tears" but by United States Soldiers (heroes all) fighting the World War on Islamic Fascisim.

Of course the allegation is an odd one. The "N" stands for "National" not "International" and a quick look at the website makes it clear they focus on national events, and when they address events outside the country, it is to address the actions of US agencies, organizations and businesses.”
