“Does anyone out there use a particular waterproofing on their tent that seems to work better than the rest? Or would you say their all the same? (i know im such a noobie) let me know what you use!” 8:06:24 AM 3/02/07 “Depends on the tent. Most fly's don't even need to be sealed. What kinda tent you using?” 8:30:49 AM 3/02/07 “If the fly is not sealed, might it leak?? "Seams" like they would” 8:44:58 AM 3/02/07 “i bought a really cheap tent for myself to use every once in a while and if rain sits on the top of the fly (small beads do) then it drips through. Its terrible, maybe i should just by a different fly?” 8:59:37 AM 3/02/07 “I have a Eureka 2 man tent that has never been sealed. The tent has be through heavy rains time and time again and it has never leaked. I have a newer tarp tent that I did seal due to the manufactures reccomendation. Anything is possible. If you are not sure, seal it. First check the instructions that came with the tent. amd618, buy a new tent...hard to replace a fly.” 9:15:10 AM 3/02/07 “yea it looks like thats what i have to do.” 9:29:14 AM 3/02/07
