“last time i sailed i was 5 or 6 months pregnant with my 13yr old son. i remember my oldest son's father, (not my husband, but we are great friends), throwing me the rope and saying, "jump to the dock and tie us up". i looked at him and looked at the dock about 6 feet away and looked at my belly and wondered if he remembered i was pregnant. i jumPed! landed well, tied her up! his dad suddenly looked at me and my belly and looked at him, threw back and his head and laughed. he told us we were nuts! Gosh that was a great day! i LOVE sailing!!!”

I'm sure Bobo can relate to this: I was down in Savannah for the Olympics in '96 and asked one of the Tornado (catamaran) sailors how they dealt with the monohulls sailing the same course and he said, "We just treat them as stationary objects."”
