Plot Synopsis: "WHAT THE #$*! DO WE KNOW?!" is a radical departure from convention. It demands a freedom of view and greatness of thought so far unknown, indeed, not even dreamed of since Copernicus. It's a documentary. It's a story. It's mind-blowing special effects. This film plunges you into a world where quantum uncertainty is demonstrated - where neurological processes, and perceptual shifts are engaged and lived by its protagonist - where everything is alive, and reality is changed by every thought.

Last weekend we went to Gruyer. A tiny village in the swiss mountains, famouse for its cheese, it's stereotype, kitsch swiss village ambience AND having the 'Alien' bar and the H.R.Giger museum. Bit of a cultur clash. The bar is decorated 'Alian' style, guts inside out, just like in the Alien movies. The great artist, H.R.Giger, is known to be his best costumer in his bar. Indeed we saw him at the bar, holding a whisky tumbler in his hand. It wasn't late in the evening yet, but he already looked very spaced off.

spaced, indeed.... VBG

Now I remember... I believe his work was the inspiration for the sets in the Alien movies with Sigourney Weaver.

exactly. He's the grandmaster of the alien. Ridley Scott saw his artwork and instantly wanted it for his movie as set design. The most polite word to describe Gigers artwork is...'bizarr'.

Met Giger at a NJ tattoo convention in 1991.
He's one creepy dude!

I have towndog. It's pretty interesting isn't it? I saw part of it in school, then rented it and watched it two more times. Quantum physics is far out.

Pretty interesting movie! Makes you question reality, as we see it. :)

I only question reality as YOU (the collective you) see it;)

Documentary is a stretch. A lot of wishful thinking. Another attempt to mix religion and science.

But what do any of us know? Good point!
