Hiking the Wonderland Trail “For all outdoor enthusiasts I have just finalized a 2 year project, "Mt. Rainier: Hiking the Wonderland Trail." This dual layer DVD has over 3 hours of content with aerial footage and complete video trail coverage, tips and advice, backcountry campsite tours, internet links, etc. I've hiked or run the trail every year for over 20 years and believe I've captured the passion I have for this wonderful place. See everything you need to know, including a video trailer, at www.williswall.com.” 12:37:08 AM 3/10/07 “Oh, thank god I don't have to actually go and hike those 93 miles. I can just watch it on DVD on my big screen tv at home and eat granola bars on the couch.” 12:51:56 AM 3/10/07 “Pretty cool!” 8:51:03 AM 3/10/07 “USA, you bum!” 8:52:57 AM 3/10/07 “Lol..well, this year, that is about all we will be able to do with the Wonderland ... sigh! Hello, couch.” 5:50:07 PM 3/10/07 “http://www.nps.gov/mora/planyourvisit/the-wonderland-trail.htm May 31, 2007... Mount Rainier National Park will NOT be accepting reservations for attempts to hike the entire Wonderland Trail for the 2007 summer season. The Wonderland Trail suffered major trail and tread damage as a result of the November 2006 flood event. Repairs are underway, but uncertainty remains as to the timeline of completion on several projects, particularly bridges over hazardous river crossings. The Park will continue to accept advanced reservation requests for short portions of the Wonderland Trail that currently do not have unresolved issues. Essentially, advanced reservations may be made for trips that do not cross Tahoma Creek, the North Puyallup River, Winthrop Creek or Stevens Creek.” 9:23:22 PM 6/03/07
