Lady J or Freshette- ladies only

“I purchased both from Campmor. Really, found the Freshette better. Difference in price was 6.99 for the Lady j vs. 19.99 for the freshette. Need more feedback from the trail use side. Tested mine at home.”

“I have both and I have found that the Lady j works better for me. I use it with a pee bottle most of the time. For me, the Freshette needs to be placed just right or I would end up getting my pants wet. I have tested both on the trail. Would like to hear from others.”

I will add to say, that I do own a Freshette. I just haven't used it and don't know that I will. I bought it because the thought of squatting in 4* weather wasn't all that appealing. It really wasn't that bad.

“I'm with MsDoo, I have found that I only use the Lady j in my tent when I don't want to go out first thing in the morning. Otherwise, it's just easier to squat. Just drip dry, wear a panty liner and then freshen up when I get to camp.”

I went with the Lady J. I just bought it a week ago so I haven't had a chance to try it camping yet. I tested it at home & it's very easy to use.

*edited - oops. I could've sworn they had Lady J reviews...but I only see Travel Mate products, and it looks like that is a different product after all. Hmmm. Anyway, the Freshette reviews mentioned having to be careful about placement, and that's the last thing I want to worry about when I'm half asleep and need to pee very badly. The Lady J is pretty much foolproof.
