We just got through hearing a jerk of a real estate salesman telling us that we'll never sell our house for the asking price and we should just accept his clients' lowball offer and out of the blue this morning WHAMMO! We get a contract for the full asking price. HPM's over the moon right now. Said nasty salesman is getting a loud raspberry on his voicemail.

Dang spelling errors.

Wonderful. Congratulation.

Unless that agent was hired by the buyer, report him/her to FREC. It does not sound like he was doing his proper job for you. FREC is the Florida Real Estate Commission. (I have obtained and held Florida Real Estate Licenses twice, and worked in RE. But that was more than 10 years ago.)

Don't think I'll have a problem with the aick-sint Gojo, after listening to my NC/ SC based inlaws for so many years.

My coworker put a contract on a house last week contingent on selling his. His went on the market Tues and he sold it Sat. A newlywed couple bought it. Daddy bought it for his little princess. He offered to write the earnest money check for the full purchase price. Pops is paying for the whole thing out of pocket. No mortgage. How nice that must be.

Dang, DH, my wife's dad paid for my tux rental when we got married. I guess she's not a princess!

*off topic- this is my first post from work. It feels good.

My coworker told the guy to not write the whole check for the earnest money. I think he got $1000. He is so glad that his house sold so quickly.

True, but my coworker isn't complaining. He was buying a house contingent on selling his current one. Daddy Warbucks sweeps in a buys it, so my coworker now gets to move from 30 miles to the office to 5.
