Karo is a grandpa!

“My daughter had her little girl last Saturday night! And on St. Patrick's Day too. She weighed in at 6 lbs. 9.5 oz. and was 18 and a half inches long. The pregnancy went ok till the end and she wound up having to deliver by caesarian section. But mom and baby are home now and doing fine. I will post pics as soon as I figure out my new camera. Now I can go hiking!”

“Oh I forgot, her name is Ella Grace Mansfield.”

“Congrads Karo!!!!!”

“Confabulations there, Grandad --- !”

“Thanks SS, good to hear from ya. I am feeling much better now and my Dr. even advised my to take a hike! Really he said for me to get away and forgot my troubles for awhile. One more week to go before our long shutdown.”

“Tilt what are you drinking, I'll have one!”

“Maybe that's why you are called tilt, LOL. Thanks, and its great to hear from you also.”

“Congrats karo. Plan on spoiling her. That's what my folks try to do with ours.”

“Good for you. I'm not old enough for that yet, but when I am you can be my role model. Glad everyone is okay, now take a walk.”

“Good news Karo! Maybe when she is 5-6 mos old you can put her on Your back for a 1st hike in the woods. I have fond memories of taking my son on one at the Mohonk mountain preserve in New Paltz, NY (1986).”
