5 oz long sleeve shirt....$ 8:36:45 AM 3/28/07 “God you'd look like a complete asshat wearing that piece of #&%!$.” 9:44:12 AM 3/28/07 “ ![]() See what I mean?” 9:52:25 AM 3/28/07 “Pullovers are a pain.” 10:10:45 AM 3/28/07 “i looked at railriders but their shipping rates are absurd. i wanted to order a pair of pants and a shirt from them and S&H was $13 bucks... for ground!!! I went with "5.11 tactical" clothing from GearZone: http://www.gearzoneproducts.com No, they aren't "eco" shirt and pants (the pants have magazine pockets in them) but VERY well built and rugged. I was very pleased -and- shipping was FREE. Pants: http://www.gearzoneproducts.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=8 Shirt: http://www.gearzoneproducts.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=15 Expensive yes but read the features... these are "last forever" sort of clothing. I especially like the shirt. This is NOT "ultralight" gear but it's ultratough. I haven't tried the RailRiders stuff and at the rates they charge for shipping I never will. last edited: 3/28/07 10:30:46 AM” 10:26:57 AM 3/28/07 “That is a sweet shirt. It is worth every penny. Birch has put his through hell and it's still perfect. I think he got it about four years ago. The ventilation on the side panels is awesome. He wishes they made pants to match. Railriders is a nice company to deal with. I have a pair of the women's' weather pants and they are indestructible. They have great customer service. last edited: 3/28/07 10:29:15 AM” 10:27:12 AM 3/28/07 Sass... “Check the link above, then scroll down on the right.... they DO make matching pants.....” 10:43:27 AM 3/28/07 “Oh yeah! Tarabull has a pair I think. Maybe he just wishs he had the matching pants. One complaint I have is the inseam on the women's pants is too short. Mine are floods. And you do have to follow the washing instructions, if you dry them they become bigger floods (thank you birch!).” 10:46:27 AM 3/28/07 “I have that same shirt and bought it on sale a few years ago so the price was reasonable. The shirt has one design flaw in my opinion. The elastic cuffs can't be adjusted and trap too much warm air in the sleeves making my arms hotter than they should be. I ripped out the elastic with a seam ripper and installed velcro cuffs that can be adjusted closed or fully open. That made a huge difference because supplex fabric just doesn't breathe as well as a knit. Now when I ride my bike with that shirt the air flow runs right up my arms and feels much cooler on a hot day.” 11:44:32 AM 3/28/07 “Mine are floods. ... Sassafras 10:46:27 AM Is that some kind of midwestern code word?” 12:23:48 PM 3/28/07
