Casch Creek day hike

“OK so I'll toss in a date and see how we do. April 14 or 15. Hoping our taxes are paid and we can walk it off. Or change this to the beer day.”

“Works for us. It would be great to see everyone.”

“I got no plans - should be good for wildflowers. There are several options of places to hike but the Redbud Trail should be good. Actually I have never hiked that particular trail but it is supposed to be great and a good spot for Bald Eagles.”

“Is that the trail just off of 20 after crossing the creek? It'll be great to see you again Pepper. Dogs welcome.”

“I went on a turkey hunting trip with my brothers yesterday. It reminded me that we will run into hunters in that area. Most of the hunting is finished soon after dawn I guess because of the habits of the turkey. I can come on through Davis and pick you up Pepperdog if that works.”

“How do people hunt turkey in the dark? I'm not really fond of hiking in hunting season. Any other ideas?”

“Looks like turkey season is from March 31 to May 6. That said, I have seen the occasional hunter in that area but they are pretty few and far between. That trail is pretty well traveled by tree-hugger types so I would expect the hunters to go to one of the many less populated areas.

Are we talking Saturday or Sunday?”

“I'm good for Sat. the 14th. The hunters won't be a problem wanna. What I was meaning is they'll be finished for the day by 8 or so.”

“We're in. I just won't dress up as a turkey!”

This is looking unlikely for us. If Jerry won't dress up as a turkey, I don't want to go. JK'ing. We need to get stuff organized for our Grand Canyon trip. We're leaving the next weekend.”

“I'd watch my back then Landscaper. OK about the hike. It doesn't seem it generated any interest so I'll call it off and work some green monster pools. I'll call Pepperdog if she doesn't respond in a day. Maybe she'll want to work some green monster pools. Not!”
