Feinstein Resigns
Senator exits MILCON following Metro exposé, vet-care scandal

By Peter Byrne

SEN. Dianne Feinstein has resigned from the Military Construction Appropriations subcommittee. As previously and extensively reviewed in these pages, Feinstein was chairperson and ranking member of MILCON for six years, during which time she had a conflict of interest due to her husband Richard C. Blum's ownership of two major defense contractors, who were awarded billions of dollars for military construction projects approved by Feinstein.

All we ever heard about for what seemed like years was Haliburton & Cheney, the fact that nobody is bringing this situation up shows, once again, the lefest bias of the media.

Hmmm. Could it be because conflict of interest and unethical behavior are so common among democrats that it's not news worthy? More a rite of passage. A resume enhancer.

Or maybe it's as you suggest, the news media shilling for the left.

Wouldn't Fox have sucked up on it if there were any meat to it?

I heard a little about it on FOX, was waiting for the networks or CNN to pick it up, not a peep out of them!

Funny, she's one of our CA Senators but I also haven't seen squat out here on local broadcasts or in my local newspaper.

I got so sick of hearing the libbies whine about Haliburton / Cheney, just wondering where they are now?

Oh... I forgot... it's only a big deal if it's a Conservative who is under fire, silly me.
