“best of all, in our group it is the guys who make fires and collect fire materials.
You see sarbar, that's one reason why I actually enjoy backpacking with 'ladies only teams'. Last time I backpacked with a guy he wouldn't allow me to do anything with his campfire. His campfire! I too love playing with campfire, but when I suggested not to put on so much wood (I got worried he might burn down the forest) he snapped at me, that he would know better than me how to make a propper campfire. Back home at his place though, as soon as I started cooking, he instantly disappeared under his car, faking to do repairs and would only show up when dinner was ready.”
“My family and friends have never been weird about it. Hell my first group hike was in California and the plane ticket was given to me by a TT named Nomad. I knew I was in with a good crowd.”
“It's not nice to post pictures of tiltypoo.”
“If only that had read "someone is wrong on Trailtalk", it would have summed up this entire board in one panel.”
“chili has this pegged.....Sounds like my house at 10 pm on a work night.”
“Is there a "Hot for Mother" thread? (LOL)
Bad news...female pedophile on WOW...good news..Junior hasn't 'peaked" yet.
“WHOOPS this is a HOT for Teacher situation.”
“We are FINALLY settled into our permanent condo and will have the internet back on Wednesday! Withdrawal has NOT been fun.”

“What took so long? because you moved twice? I had mine within 3 days. Margaritas helped me a little...”
““What took so long? because you moved twice? I had mine within 3 days. Margaritas helped me a little...”
We were only in the temporary condo for 6 weeks, so I didn't want to have to get it installed and have to pay the fee and then have to do it all over again when we moved into the permanent condo.....
So yea, it only took 5 days to come out and set it up after we scheduled it once we got into the permanent place.”
“I just read Euro's post at the top of this page and it reminded me of a paper pinned to the wall near the fireplace in a fishing cabin in northern Quebec that I saw as a youngster:
If it's warmth that you desire,
Poke your wife and not the fire,
If a thrill you want in life,
Poke somebody else's wife,
Poke his wife, or poke your own,
But leave the f*cking fire alone.
