Slot Canyon Hiking

“Looking to go out west to do some hiking. Interested in hiking some slot canyons. Where is the best area to hike?”

“ive heard paria canyon in southern utah/northern arizona is the shiznit. thats on my shortlist. the confluence of the paria (pronounced pah-ree-ah) and the colorado is generally considered the eastern end of the grand canyon”

“Anza Borrego Desert in San Diego county, CA. I'm actually taking my family car camping there the 20th through the 21st to explore a few near Hawk Canyon. My knees won't tolerate any hiking or climbing right now, but I can sit around a fire and watch the family set up camp and cook for me, LOL! There are some called Shell canyon where you can dig up a ton of fossiles, our kids really "dug" that! ;O)”

“At it's best! Well, only one of them is a child chronologically. One of them is older than me but has never grown up. One of them shows promise about half of the time and is a temper tantrum throwing two year old the other half. LOL!”
