Not yet. Maybe I'll try to call tomorrow. I need to ask if he's getting low on cookies yet. :)

he may just want to hang there for a while till he gets his fill of cookies and nurses, then they'll have to wheel him out to get rid of him...
Get well, Stovie.........

Stove,

I just mailed you a letter. I am praying for your recovery. I can't imagine what you are going through, but I know you have great humor and are a strong person. Anyone like you will come out on top for sure!

I just finished the last of your honey the other week, it was almost solid, but I wanted to use it up in some bread I made.

Anyway, you have great friends and family surrounding you! My arm is up in the air for you!
Take care and get well,
Tina Dean

Ahhhh!

That freak was on "America's got Talent." Very briefly I might add. Hasselhoff wouldn't give him the boot, until one of the other judges reached over and hit the buzzer.

I just called the Stove-meister
He really is doing great.
I didn't tell you guys, but I had a stroke at the end of Dec. I'm doing awesome now, but it's been a rough road, more emotionally than anything. So when I saw that Stovie had a stroke I called him right away at the hospital. I obviously haven't been on TT that much lately, so I didn't know what had happened until today.
Anyhoo, he asked me to tell you all that he's doing great and he's keeping his spirits up and trying not to get too frustrated.
He was able to do some fine motor stuff with his right hand recently and is excited that the strength in his leg is back. He is still working on getting coordination and balance down when walking. He still has difficulty with his hand though. His speech is improving and is great in the morning before he gets too tired. He clearly has no memory issues or cognitive deficiencies as he recalled something about my cat in our conversation.
I'm going to call him again in a couple of days, so I'll give you an update then.
