OK, folks, I just got off the phone with Stovie....he's recovering. His stroke left him paralyzed on the right side last week. He had the stoke at home but his family got him to the hospital. He is able to start moving his arm and leg on the right side and is up and walking with the help of a walker. He's hoping he continues to recover and (per Roam Around's post) says "there's a cute one in here"...........LOL.
He sends his regards to all and thanks you all for your concern, prayers, etc.

Get well, Stovey. MarkO said he'll give you a kiss full on the lips when you start posting again. I'm not gonna do that, but I will take pictures.

Just a little warning, my Mom had a stroke about three years ago (fully recovered) and became much more liberal afterward. Claims it jolted her brain into healthier thinking. Peace to you.

Anyone know how long he will be in the hospital? Don't want to send anything there if he will be gone.

I bet Stovestomper will be flooded with goodies and all his room mates will be jealous.
Wonder if they'll let him have internet access in his room?

If you get to read this Stovie, know that 98% of women find a man with a crooked smile sexy. ;) I'm hoping and praying that everything goes back to normal and you'll be back on the trails in no time.

Is there an address for someone nearby to send him something? The thing I wanted to send doesn't have a delivery option that will get there with a week and I don't want it missing him in the hospital (nursing staff has often offered me a bite of cakes and things sent to discharged patients).
