“After they said the "rescuing captain" (whatever his name is) went through the same thing 9 years ago - but pulled a dead guy out of the water that time - I understood his reaction this time. He had an instant flashback to what he saw 9 years ago and didn't want the same ending. I would have freaked out too.”

Mapes -- that was the Maverick. The Rollo got stopped (right in the middle of the whole damn crab gear was breaking down) while out on the seas. That trip, nothing was going right for the Rollo; even the pods where empty on the first few days.”

You know, looking at the previous years, some of those boats look like they have no business out there. The episode I saw yesterday showed a guy twist the hell out of his ankle, from what looked like a missing plank on the deck.

One thing is for sure. King Crab is real cheap around these parts (going for about 6-7 bucks on the consumer end); I wonder how much of those I see on the tube, have been in my belly!”

“Whew, I was hoping they'd be back for another season, been so long since a new episode. At the beginning of last season when that one boat sank, one of the guys on it was in my cousins wedding. His dad begged and begged him not to go but he heard about all the money you could make and died the first trip out.”

“Great show! It's funny how entertaining it is. It's really the same thing over and over but I can't get enough of it. Last night they showed the "behind the scenes" episode where they show all about the cameramen and how they get all the different shots. Very interesting.”

“I'm not familar with the show having only watched it a few times a while back, but the guy that did most of the talking with Jay Leno had blond hair. I assume he was the captain.”
