Hey All.
I have been trying to go on this, but my nogood step daughter is graduating from High School (I a’int going) and my in-laws will all be coming to visit that weekend as well so I am stuck in my suburban hell. Take some pics and post em so I can see how the trial has changed.
See ya later.

The ranger was right about the bluff at Indian Creek. I attempted it and gave up. The Blue River is a good water source though. When we were there some water was dripping off a ledge near Pioneer Cabin and my brother just sat a pan under it and filtered from that. Not to mention the creek runs south towards the Ohio so you'll eventually come to water if you follow it. If you want a real treat, there's an old trail just north of Indian Creek. It runs by an abondoned house that has a well in front of it. I used a rope and pan to fish water from that. The house had a pretty good lean to it so we opted not to go in. Though, with your itinerary the water sources will be at your back for most of the trip so I'd definetely cache.

Getting lost is another story in itself. Of course, getting lost on this trail is half the fun. How do you think I found that old house.

Myself and Coyote820 are looking to do a trip on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday will be a late arrival and Sunday hiking till mid afternoon. We were thinking about doing Low Gap or The Deam if you are interested, let me know. If We do Low Gap, we thought about starting at the backcountry parking and hike in a ways. Then hike to the trail head the next morning. We would leave a vehicle there shuttling. The Deam, still up for debate.
