Their crime? The fact they were protesting a well-known FACT that the Forsyth rednecks were keeping BLACKS from moving into the county through intimidation and cross burning (yeah, 1986. Sad). Oh yeah, the resident attitudes may have had something to do with the fact that Forsyth was where the last documented lynching in the US took place...

200,000 people showed up to march through the county about two weeks later and it was a PERFECTLY PEACEFUL PROTEST expect for the redneck KLANSMEN who were there to be total and complete azzwipes.”

I asked my professor, "HMM...I wonder what you would be saying if the people moving in were black and the WHITE thugs had treated them like that...or the resturant was a black chicken place?"
