Oh man, Tom,
I am so sorry to hear of Buddurdog's passing, and the fact that you had to put him down. I almost cried reading your first post. : (

I loved hiking with him that one time 2 years ago. He was so cool! He had a good 9+ years. : )

Seeing the thread title made me sad...I know how much you loved him.

I met Buddur dog on the trail with Buddur right behind him. He was a good trail dog.

So very sorry, Tom. I always knew Buddur was a great dog, with all the hiking and trip reports. What a great life for you and Buddur. Sincerest thanks you had that and prayers as time goes on.

Tom, your dog was the man. Pure and simple. I hope the pain eases soon.

oh my gosh! :(

Buddur was such a special boy...he was the original FYAO doggie!!! It sounds like you made his last moments very special, fitting for his life with you. You were both lucky to have shared the time you had. I'm so sorry for the loss you feel. I have been there too and even though you shared so many wonderful memories, the time can never possibly be long enough...

My fave shot is from FYAO III, credit Adventurist.

"out there" and loving it!

My condolences, Tom. To me, you and Buddurdog have always been one identity on TT over the years as I would read of your hikes. It was a very compassionate send-off that you gave him, just what a true partner deserves.

Must have missed this thread earlier. Sorry about your puppy dog. Wish I had met the little guy. I know I would have liked him.
