Linda Johnson received her BA in Theatre from Grinnell College in Iowa. She recently moved to Massachusetts and is thrilled to be making her debut with Boston Actors Theater. Among her favorite roles are Agnes in Dancing at Lughnasa, Amira in Pentecost, and God in the Fall of Man.

“WOW...like my daughter...I am sure you are saying, "Thank GOD she took after her mother in looks." (LOL)...You should be very proud. A few years ago I had a young man in my department who was a Firefighter and an EMT and he was in Medical School.

He had some problems along the way but each time he would even THINK about quitting we would gang up on him to finish. Right now he is a surgeon in Iraq and, from what I hear, A DA*N good one.

I think the worst fear a parent has is that a child will not grow up to be able to take care of themselves....this is the Ultimate Job of a Parent. You should be justifiably proud of her success.”

She is bi-lingual and a dual citizen (U.S. and Panama).

By blood, she is 25% of each of the following: Panamanian, Chinese, Swedish, and English plus whatever else may have been on the Mayflower. She is eligible to join the DAR.

“nowslimmer, I'm hoping that my girl will take up hiking/bping once she gets to Ithaca. She is already planning to join the mountain bike group on campus, as that has been one of her recreational sports in the past while growing up in the U.P. As an incentive, I told her I can completely outfit her for free from all the gear I've accumulated and can no longer use. Some strolls in the forest would be a good balance to the next five years of work toward a Ph.D.

I miss getting out in the Wisconsin and Michigan woods, but the sailboat is a pretty darn good trade off.”

“humanpackmule, ain't that the truth! I've been walking on the clouds as my daughter wrapped up her undergrad career -- university honors, Honors College high honors, top honors thesis in German Dept., Phi Beta Kappa, and a full fellowship to Cornell. Yikes! Talk about proud.
