Looking back, I wish I would have started the hike at F.R. 16 cutting down the first half of the hike by 8 miles.

Then we probably would have been in better shape to continue on, when we reached Old Victoria, instead of driving west and starting at Norwich Rd., thus missing, one of the best section's of the hike, from Old V. to Norwich Rd.

The section from Norwich Rd. west to our end point at F.R. 326 was awesome thought too.

It was worth doing the 35 miles before Old Victoria, as we saw two suspension bridges, at 150 ft & 125 ft long, O-Kun-DE-Kun Falls, had 2 river fords, and the forest was beautiful to hike through.

The many blow-downs made it a challenge as well, and it was a lot more tiresome then you would think.
The constant high stepping over and under logs, along with fighting your way through the thick stuff, took its toll on all of us , for sure.”

“It was interesting to see the Traps from far away...I love those escarpment views...I spent 3 days up there; probably put in double the trail miles as I bushwacked from trail to cliff edge about every 1/4 mile...I am a view junkie...”
