You don't have to be anti-American to face obvious facts. You don't even have to think that American military actions outside our shores have been anything less than 100% justified to think they had something to do with why we were attacked.

Whether our foreign policy is right or wrong - you don't have as many bases overseas or use as much ordinance as we do in combat without getting people that mad. Virtually all the nation's political attention in recent weeks has focused on the compelling state-by-state presidential nomination struggle between two Democrats and the potential for party-splitting strife over there.

In this world where we have people declaring and wanting a nanny state where everyone is expected to suckle at the teet of big (huge) government, where we saw illegal wire taps on Americans, we saw the seizure of over a thousand legally owned firearms by the national guard after Kitrina, and a slow, constant erosion of our freedoms people are coming back around to the idea that the nation needs to get back to the Constitution. We must protect it and it's time we follow it. ALL OF US. No one else spoke more clearly than Ron Paul along these lines.

If no one else running can support the Constitution and person freedoms to my satisfaction I will write in Ron Paul on election day. Phuck your two party prison.”

I had that opinion early on in the primaries, but even with all Ron Paul's media excitement his campaign never took off. If you vote that way no one in the democratic will get your message because your vote would give the election to someone who is diametrically opposed to Ron Paul. 8 years ago no one took notice of the Nader vote and then took their heads out of their asses. the same will happen with the Ron Paul throw away votes.”

However you want to justify it to yourself. Meanwhile, on a pragmatic level, Obama wins, the two party system continues, and you end up with less freedom. Stupid? Yep. Noble? Nope.”
