They say their free of all sinning , but they still breed with their kin.” 7:11:22 PM 7/14/11 “Fepsis, I imagine we would agree on abortion, separation of church and state, gay marriage, evolution in public schools, and possibly other contentious social issues. I'm "liberal" like that.” 5:30:08 AM 7/15/11 “I wonder if you'd both agree on marijuana legalization (and with Ron Paul on that issue). I like Ron Paul, I love his intellectual consistency on most things. It's also why I think he'd be a particularly bad president - I think he'd really sincerely pursue the policies he espouses. Some would be great, some very risky, some foolhardy.” 5:36:30 AM 7/15/11 “Legalization, yes. Not decriminalization. It may create new problems, and it may result in an increase in the size of .gov, but in my opinion, it would be worth it.” 6:01:00 AM 7/15/11 “I like Ron Paul, I love his intellectual consistency on most things. Like Thomas Jefferson and George W. Bush. He's got my vote - I like the idealogue. I would never have voted for FDR.” 6:29:09 AM 7/15/11 “'Legalization, yes. Not decriminalization. Hemp alone would give the economy a boost.I'm with you if tax isn't too extreme, but you know it try it's best to be.” 6:53:00 AM 7/15/11 “I agree on legalization. I'm not comfortable with decriminalization, though it might be a step forward.” 7:26:17 AM 7/15/11 “but I ain't a liberal. hell, you might be more liberal than me! as for legalization of marijuana, some people seem to think it would solve all the country's ills whlie others think society would crumble. Personally, I think it might help the country a bit, but it certainly would only be a small help. Here in California, it's all but legal already and we're no more degraded or degenerate than we've always been - of course we've always been pretty degraded and degernate. Ron Paul has some great ideas... but that's all they really are: ideas. He's a lot like Nader in that sense - some good topical ideas and suggestions for fixing the nation, but ideas that would fall flat the second they were applied to our political climate. If he is genuine in his wish to improve the country, he may be the first politician in decades. He will meet unyielding opposition at every step by those who simply have something to gain politically or financially by opposing him and, at best, he will be an ineffective impotent president (kind of similar to the one we've got now) And, sadly, I don't think our political climate will ever change to the point where someone with his ideas could ever succeed in putting them in place. That would sure be great, but short of throwing the whole thing out and starting over, it'll never happen.” 8:33:14 AM 7/15/11 “I was getting breakfat this morning at the Elephant Bar in Simi Valley, CA when suddenly there was a bit of a hubbub and gathering of people. I asked around and finally someone said that Ron Paul was there. I assume he's in town for the debates...” 7:56:55 AM 9/08/11 Teabaggers boo Paul for speaking the truth: “We're under great threat because we occupy so many countries. We're in 130 countries. We have 900 bases around the world. We're going broke. The purpose of al-Qaeda was to attack us, invite us over there, where they can target us. And they have been doing it. They have more attacks against us and the American interests per month than occurred in all the years before 9/11. But we're there, occupying their land. And if we think that we can do that and not have retaliation, we're kidding ourselves. We have to be honest with ourselves. What would we do if another country, say China, did to us what we do to all those countries over there? So, this whole idea that the whole Muslim world is responsible for this and they're attacking us because we're free and prosperous, that is just not true. Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda have been explicit. They have been explicit, and they wrote and said that we attacked - we attacked America because you had bases on our holy land in Saudi Arabia, you do not give Palestinians a fair treatment, and you have been bombing - I didn't say that, I'm trying to get you to understand what the motive was behind the bombing. At the same time, we had been bombing and killing hundreds of thousands of Iraqis for 10 years. Would you be annoyed? If you're not annoyed, then there's some problem. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pfBKKh0C2eo” 5:20:07 AM 9/14/11 “Pax Americana isn't easy or cheap, but criticizing it in the safe comfort it provides sure is.” 5:43:05 AM 9/14/11 “Spending 60% of the money spent world wide on military by 4.5% of world population sounds balanced to me, in fact, it sounds kind'ah Texan like, Eh?” 7:06:11 AM 9/14/11 8:36:30 AM 9/14/11 “We have to be honest with ourselves. What would we do if another country, say China, did to us what we do to all those countries over there? Depends on who is in office (Obama would be the perfect storm). If it does happen go ahead watch the brutality that will be inflicted on our own citizens by the Government to appease the occupiers.” 9:50:57 AM 9/14/11 “If China did as we do and we had no military defense, only offense here and couldn't stop all the southern militia's from killing each other, we'd all wind up down on the beach with Rush in North Cuba yelling for Raul Castro to save us.” 11:47:17 AM 9/14/11 “Chris Matthews Falsely Accuses Ron Paul of Saying He‘d ’Let Someone Die’ During GOP Debate http://www.theblaze.com/stories/chris-matthews-falsely-accuses-ron-paul-of-saying-he%E2%80%98d-%E2%80%99let-someone-die%E2%80%99-during-gop-debate/” 2:26:02 PM 9/14/11 “So the libbies were lying, again. What a shock.” 3:01:48 PM 9/14/11 “Why doesn't Ron say it this way? http://www.dailykos.com/story/2011/09/13/1016393/-Ralph-Nader-on-the-Causes-of-9-11” 6:54:05 PM 9/14/11 Jump to Page << prev
