I am voting for Ron Paul because of the message, but if I thought he had a chance of getting elected I would cast my vote elsewhere. The reason is because his votes are ruled by his reading of the constitution. Like him I agree the federal government has stepped beyond its constitutionally mandated functions. What his votes don't reflect are his own personal values on how he would vote if he was a State legislator or Governor on those same issues.

Actaully, reading that story it makes me think that is how it would be if Ron Paul gets elected. Washington just wouldn't get the point and Congress would unite against him. Its scary how bad spending would be if both sides agreed to fund each others spending priorities. We'd be increasing taxes and borrowing more.
