Ron Paul.” 5:49:57 AM 11/27/07 “LOL...and he has some REALLY classy supporters...(LOL) The Paul campaign has also drawn support from antigovernment fringe groups and 9/11 conspiracy theorists. Since mid-September, a large "Ron Paul for President" banner has flashed at the bottom of white-supremacist Internet forum Stormfront.org. "Really, we haven't seen a candidate like Ron Paul in some time. The closest would have been Pat Buchanan" in 2000, says Don Black of West Palm Beach, Fla., the group's founder and a former Ku Klux Klan grand wizard, who donated $500 to Mr. Paul's campaign. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB119587208818602847-email.html Vile baby...this may be for you..... last edited: 11/27/07 6:37:30 AM” 6:36:49 AM 11/27/07 “I like Paul as a message, but his platform is pretty much what he doesn't think should be done on a federal level. - Hyway Exactly. That's the point. Read the Constitution much?” 6:44:32 AM 11/27/07 “Ron Paul cannot pick who chooses to support him. He doesn't have to acknoledge their support even though they have the right to support him. The choice is theirs to make not his. Bush however made the decision to visit Bob Jones University on his campaign trail. There is a big difference between being supported by a fringe group and choosing to accept the support from that fringe group like Bush did.” 6:50:49 AM 11/27/07 “I like Paul as a message, but his platform is pretty much what he doesn't think should be done on a federal level. - Hyway Exactly. That's the point. Read the Constitution much?” Sarge I never thought you and I would agree Sarge. But we do agree on Dr. Paul. It is the Constitution that he has used in making the decision for every vote he has made in congress. Not polls, not favors, not pork, not lobby's but the Constitution.” 6:55:26 AM 11/27/07 “Sarge while I agree with the idea of limited Government Control..there are issues I totally disagree with Ron Paul on. I do not believe the founding fathers could have concieved of an age where 19 men could rain so much horror on our nation as was felt on 9/11. I do believe that (as was shown by President Jefferson) we are justified in leaving our borders to protect American Interests abroad. To me Ron is kinda like the "Green Party" Candidates who run as a Dem.” 7:08:03 AM 11/27/07 “XL - Ron Paul wanted to pursue the attackers of 9/11. Baueuxdriver - Bob Jones is a fringe group? Please. It's a Christian school, hardly "fringe".” 7:17:09 AM 11/27/07 “Ronbots are so cute.” 7:19:10 AM 11/27/07 “Ronbots? We already have a label? I just decided on supporting him, and now I'm a "ronbot". Is that like being a Rushbaby because I support Bush, even though I hardly ever listen to him, or a FauxNews mouthpiece, even though I only recently receiving getting Fox News? cool!” 7:20:59 AM 11/27/07 “The supports of Ron Paul Ronbots as you call us come from all over the political spectrum. The one thing we all have in common is that we aren't real happy with the offerings approved by and promoted by the corporate media. We are generally not impressed by Hillary, Rudy or Obama.” 7:24:58 AM 11/27/07 “Cut-N-Run-N-Defund-The-Military Ron is wrong on foreign policy. He'd be a disaster.” 7:34:52 AM 11/27/07 “"We need to be friendly with everyone" - Ron Paul on how to defeat terrorism” 7:36:47 AM 11/27/07 “Mutt - Can you think of a more important issue, and anyone else who would work on doing an acceptable solution - as border security? This single issue solves or greatly helps many of our issues - including crimes, drugs, welfare, medical costs and terrorism.” 7:49:08 AM 11/27/07 “Diaster is the direction this country is headed for. You think you can tell the other 95.5% of the earths' population what to do, but really you can only convince the couple of % from all of the countries that agree with your one world garbage (USA way). You think because you stopped Hitler and the USSR from doing what you want to do , that makes it a cake walk. Both got to big for their size and so will you. last edited: 11/27/07 7:54:24 AM” 7:51:17 AM 11/27/07 “Border security does NOT entail the geopolitical disaster that Ron envisages for us.” 8:01:15 AM 11/27/07 “You dudes better hurry out and get lots of money from the top 5% to fund your wars and agression, because the other 95% will soon get tired of your China cash register and endless borrowing. You war mongers had the perfect storm for 14 years and you blew it.” 8:04:21 AM 11/27/07 “Aw come on man, we need at least six more aircraft carriers. China will fund it with money they got from us.” 8:07:57 AM 11/27/07 “I disagree Mutt. What makes you say that?” 8:08:05 AM 11/27/07 “Actually, I agree with you to some extent, salebored. However, abandoning our overseas interests and "being nice" won't cut it in the real world. The US will be better off without Jorge in office and a return to the skillful use of political capital, but in the end: oderint dum metuant.” 8:10:27 AM 11/27/07 “"I disagree" - Sarge. Profound.” 8:11:41 AM 11/27/07 “Mutt is correct...the thing most Americans miss (due to the criminal incompetence of the Lamestream Media) is that Iraq is the PERFECT killing zone. As we bring more and more of the people the HOPE for peace...they will be more and more violent against the terrorists (LOL). Heck we are already seeing that in the treatment of the Foreign insurgents when they are captured. Plus as tough as it may sound. I would much rather the Iraqis be losing civilians than having to deal with the fall out from American Civilians being killed.” 8:20:20 AM 11/27/07 “Mutt/XL, so no explanation as to why you think he's not going to secure the borders? Is this just your opinion? I know somebody who worked for him for 10 years (until very recently). You seem to be at odds with their conclusion on his border policy.” 8:22:41 AM 11/27/07 “straight from the horses mouth ... http://www.lewrockwell.com/paul/paul343.html more ... http://www.ronpaul2008.com/issues/border-security-and-immigration-reform/ and his voting record ... http://www.vote-smart.org/voting_category.php?can_id=296 last edited: 11/27/07 8:28:12 AM” 8:25:12 AM 11/27/07 “Oh I see, you think I'm criticizing Ron for wanting to secure the border. If you read my post above, you'll see I'm talking about his plans for the military in regard to overseas geopolitics. That ought to clear up your confusion.” 8:26:09 AM 11/27/07 “We don't just pull out all at once from these people we have made dependent on us. We need to set a time line for withdrawing from these long term outpost and let these countries start paying for their own security. Making these countries dependent on the US wasn't exactly per happenstance.” 8:47:12 AM 11/27/07 “What we have created acting like Big Brother to the world is a geopolitical welfare state that we, the American taxpayer gets the bill for. Our sticking our nose where it doesn't belong has cost us dollars and blood. Congressman Paul voted to attack those that attacked us on 9-11. He is right on the issues when the issue is right. He voted against the invasion of Iraq. He saw no reason for US to invade Iraq. He was right, after we had bought the country we found no reason to invade. Like stated earlier, Congressman Paul used the Constitution in making his decisions. It hasn't failed him yet.” 9:01:23 AM 11/27/07 “Our sticking our nose where it doesn't belong has cost us dollars and blood. - bateauxdriver Providing security is dangerous and expensive. However, "sticking our nose where it doesn't belong" has been pretty much solely responsible for the economic wellbeing of the world for decades now. It hasn't failed him yet. Except for the part about cut-n-run-n-defund, of course.” 9:18:55 AM 11/27/07 “Batting 1000 again. Mutt, on the other hand, that success, you speak of, is exactly responsible for our problems. last edited: 11/27/07 9:26:40 AM” 9:22:16 AM 11/27/07 “You think you can do *anything* on the world stage without creating problems? Don't be naive.” 9:29:26 AM 11/27/07 “But, invision Dub holding hands and kissing an Arabs' ear as they walk the palace path and Dub whispers in his ear,' it'll cost a few more billion to get rid of those next electric cars'.” 9:36:05 AM 11/27/07 “Not being naive is difficult around hear, but I'll keep listening 5 years down the line when the real problems start eating like termites.” 9:50:12 AM 11/27/07 ““I like Paul as a message, but his platform is pretty much what he doesn't think should be done on a federal level. - Hyway Exactly. That's the point. Read the Constitution much? Sarge.†bateauxdriver 9:55:26 AM 11/27/07 I am voting for Ron Paul because of the message, but if I thought he had a chance of getting elected I would cast my vote elsewhere. The reason is because his votes are ruled by his reading of the constitution. Like him I agree the federal government has stepped beyond its constitutionally mandated functions. What his votes don't reflect are his own personal values on how he would vote if he was a State legislator or Governor on those same issues. “Aw come on man, we need at least six more aircraft carriers. China will fund it with money they got from us.†MarkO 11:07:57 AM 11/27/07 You do understand that the same goes for national healthcare, the welfare state, and every other big government program the liberals love.” 1:31:50 PM 11/27/07 “Damb, I thought you had me on ignore for 2 years, and again (?) starting last month. What his votes don't reflect are his own personal values on how he would vote if he was a State legislator or Governor on those same issues. You know this how? You are incorrect. Look at his personal life as a doctor. Look at how he has refused federal funds for personal payment that he was "entitled" to. You should research him before you make baseless claims. His votes DO reflect his personal beliefs. Talk to people who know him personally. I have.” 1:35:00 PM 11/27/07 “"Like him I agree the federal government has stepped beyond its constitutionally mandated functions." Is one of those mandated functions to use the armed forces to control resources in sovereign nations to keep feeding the comsumer monster?” 1:36:34 PM 11/27/07 “As opposed to Ron making our armed forces a small self-defense force? Letting enemies grow powerful enough to perform an invasion? If Ron was Winston Churchill, it would've taken Nazi boots on English soil to get him to act. Though you may disagree with the state of foreign policy today, this one ideology of Ron's should be more than enough for any intelligent person to dismiss him entirely. But it's no surprise to see who's supporting him. last edited: 11/27/07 1:58:08 PM” 1:56:36 PM 11/27/07 “Marko, my difference with paul is that I won't cut off my nose to spite my face. If the constitution is going to be twisted beyond recognition to suit one side, then the other side has to do the same to keep up. One man and ragtag bunch of people who hate dems and repubs equally won't be able to change what washington has become. They can start the transition, but it will be a while before we see real change. When that starts happening then a real third party will emerge instead of a clumping of refugees from Washington politics.” 2:03:14 PM 11/27/07 “Politicians have been twisting the constitution for many years. U.S. forces have been used to support colonial capitalism for over 100 years regardless of what the constitution says. Schit walks..........money talks. I would not mind seeing third and fourth parties, the more the merrier.” 3:12:46 PM 11/27/07 “Hyway - name ONE politician in modern history who has followed the constitution with public policy more than Ron Paul. {crickets}” 3:41:07 PM 11/27/07 “All you war mongers want is more troops and bases all over the world for your One World 700 Club !” 4:02:20 PM 11/27/07 “Oh great, then we'll have the Robberson Klan replacing the Bush Dynasty for the One World 700 Klub.” 6:26:19 PM 11/27/07 “I like a lot of what Ron has to say but I think I should disconnect himself from the disaster known as the two party system.” 7:08:59 PM 11/27/07 “. Talk to people who know him personally. I have.¡± who?” 7:21:09 PM 11/27/07 “who who and what?” 7:37:16 PM 11/27/07 “the person who did all his scheduling for 10 years is a close friend” 11:00:05 PM 11/27/07 “Marko Mark...I know being a kept husband and LIBRARYMAN doesn't give you time to check the real news...but Um the whole Colonial Capitalisim crap died with the end of Vietnam (LOL)....I really can't recall any "colony's" the US has at this time...but if you will let me know of any "colonies" or protectorates who want independence from us...(LOL)” 4:56:35 AM 11/28/07 “canada” 5:00:16 AM 11/28/07 “That's British.” 5:43:25 AM 11/28/07 “yo mama's british” 5:48:18 AM 11/28/07 WORD! “Schit walks..........money talks. I would not mind seeing third and fourth parties, the more the merrier.” MarkO 5:12:46 PM 11/27/07” 5:53:06 AM 11/28/07 “I'm skeered of having too many parties. A couple years ago my old college elected a Pirate as Student Body President LOL. he dressed up in pirate clothes and did all his speeches using pirate talk. Thats what happens when you split the votes out to far :) http://www.newsobserver.com/102/story/433166.html Actaully, reading that story it makes me think that is how it would be if Ron Paul gets elected. Washington just wouldn't get the point and Congress would unite against him. Its scary how bad spending would be if both sides agreed to fund each others spending priorities. We'd be increasing taxes and borrowing more.
