“Hey all. Going to hike up to the Overlook shelter this friday. I have stayed there before and was thinking of passing it this time and staying up on the ridge above it. Anyone have any tips on this? How far from where you break off the AT to the shelter is it to this ridge that looks down on it? Are there camp sites there? Thanks” 9:15:44 AM 5/21/07
