Yea ..How about a Ham with Glazed Honey all over it...............

Just a reminder.........The Trail head is on the Left side of Scenic Route 150 and Not the Road that goes to the Right. Road on the right has a Big Brear Sanctuary sign located on the right side of 150. Actyal Trail head is Big beechy Trail head. The Nature center is open all day friday located at the intersection of rt 39 and 150, they have maps there also...........Yea haaaaaaaaa

Note To Self...
Spread molasses on fridge's tent before going to sleep...and maybe add a little whiskey to them to make things really interesting for the bear...

Anyway, I'm heading out Friday morning sometime and should be getting there in the afternoon sometime. This trailhead appears to be right on a state highway; should be fairly easy to find.

Just to be clear, the trailhead is on the WEST side of highway 150; the bear sanctuary is on the EAST side.

Correct?

This was posted before. Is this correct? It seems to be according to my map, if not real close.

If that's the trail I'm thinking of there is a 90* trail intersection a short distance west from Route 150.

Be careful, about 100 yards south of that intersection I took a massive dump............uh, about five years ago.

So our first night is only about a 1 1/2 in right? If so, would anyone mind it I were to bring some baby back ribs to cook over the fire that night? Would we have a way to set them up so they could cook? How many are there going to be on Friday night? Any thoughts from those going?

We'll be leaving between 12 and 1. It's a 5 hour drive and since it's only 1/2 mile in, we're going to stop along the way and get some geocaches. See you guys tomorrow!

Rolled in about 930 last night. Unloaded the gear out of my car, took a shower, and passed out.

Enjoyed meeting all the new folks, as well as seeing all the familiar folks again. Cranberry was really nice; think it would make an excellent place for a winter "pulk" sledding trip (perhaps a FYAO: West Virginia Edition?)
