“28 miles per Squirrel. The xb is 1.6 squirrels. so 40 or so give or take.”

“It's actually 2.4 squirrels. The website lists the mileage at 22/28. I was just wondering what real life mileage was.”

We have a 2004 Xb with the Mighty 1.5 Engine with a screamin' 108 horsepower.

I have gotten as high as 38 mpg when driving at no more than 60 mph.
At interstate speeds of 70+ mph it's about 33-34 mpg.

The new model had the 2.4 liter engine.”

“The engine is an angry little thing......Variable Valve Time with four valves per cylinder.

90 cubic inches and 108 hp.............it has a good power band and handles like a go kart.

It sure is funny looking and roomy as all hell.
My boys like to drive it.

I'm sure it would suck with an automatic transmission.

“That's the same engine I have in the Mighty Mighty Yaris. It's got pretty good pick up for a sewing machine powered car. I have the 4 speed auto and I get 35-42 MPG. I thought your Xb had the 2.4 liter engine which is what I was wanting to get the numbers on. I really like the looks of them since they rounded off the corners a bit.”
