15 days to go
I am so excited! This is my first time at the 'Roo and I will be camping (of course) the whole 4 days. A Friend is flying in and has financed the expedition. I bought a six person, 10 x 13' Ozark dome at W*llm*rt for a pittance. Set it up tonight- SWEET! 6 feet of head clearance- cots and the tiny table fit inside with room for camp chairs. Has a mud cave for the footware too. Got my tent locks, too - can't be too cautious. Any other TT folks making the venture this year?

Gee, I hadn't thought about that aspect, however my bag 'o gear will most likely be there and no telling how many clowns and elephants it may attract. I was told you should mark your tent with balloons or a flag-

I really wish I could. However, I'll be in the area a day late and a dollar short. My mother has decided to have a family bbq for my dad on father's day of all days. And since I missed Mother's Day last month along with 3 of my nephew's b-days, I feel a tad obligated to be there.

I will be in PA on the 18th, however. Like a said, a day late and a $ short. >:\

I went to Bonnaroo in... 2003, I think? Bob Dylan was a headliner. I had a blast, but I wouldn't pay to camp in the pee-infested scorchin' hot field with tent guy lines cross crossing for miles. I don't want to hear a scooter going by at 2 o'clock in the morning with girls yelling, "Get yo crack and cocaine, cocaine, git yo crack and cocaine!"

I'm sure you'll have a blast - I hear they bought the land now and have made vast improvements. I enjoyed the local beer brew tent and Bbinkley had his outfitters set up too.

I would LOVE to see the North Mississippi Allstars again, and Gillian Welch, and Hot Tuna, and The Police.

Azimuth is going. He's a freak for the Flaming Lips.

The Police and Widespread Panic...
The only Names I've ever heard of, and I don't know any of their music at that.....

Like some people don't watch TV, I don't listen to the Radio, I have NO CLUE how to operate an IPOD, and my car hasn't got a TAPE player much less a CD or DVD player....

MUSIC is just a tool to control the masses...

I used to have a tent fan a few years ago, but you had to put your face about 2 inches from it to feel anything. It ran on "d" batteries. I actually like the spray bottles with the fan on it that run on aa batteries. They work great.

hey again rocksee
yes - that's what they do... at least the 1x i went before
and they didn't let you hold spots either so unless you wanted to carry your stuff a long ways or brought a wheel barrel or drove in together its hard to get everybody in one area. i know about 3 other groups of folks that'll be there sort of spread out depending on when they get there... anyways i'll shoot you an email and maybe we'll cross paths at one of the shows or campsites...

They say you should use a flag or balloons
To mark your spot for easy locating. I have this Stuffed animal that is at least 3' tall.
It's a cow. I don't have any particular use for it currently. Sits in a corner. I had this idea, I would tie it to the roof of my car in camp, with the tent behind it. My Echo has a high profile for a compact, I think it might help.

5 days to go!
I just spent tonight and will spend tomorrow night at the CMA Fan Fair for Country Music- Huge Crowd- I am there as a volunteer fo rmy company providing free wheelchair rentals. Rode a gal up to her section tonight. Huge crowd at the LPField (Titans) Stadium. I am packing up for the Roo on Sunday- heading to REI in the AM to pick up another cot and a tarp for the new tent. My 2 spd fan came in and its sweet! We'll give a gear review later- Picked up lots of free glowsticks tonight- saving them unused of course. Could come in handy lots at Roo. My ticket holding escort emailed me today with the latest in arrival time. We should be heading out Thursday late in the day.
