Planning a trip to Mammoth cave KY in July. Only been there once, so I need some advice. Where's the coolest site to camp?

none of the sites are great... some are better than others. i have only stayed at the ones i'll mention below.

i would not recommend first creek 1/2 as the water supply is awful.

three springs is OK but kind of near the parking lot. there is at least good water if you look for it.

2nd creek was pretty nice but i can't vouch for the water supply. there were a lot of fallen trees blocking off the route there last i visited so the horse people wouldn't be getting in there.
