This trip is limited to 10 tents!
We had such a great time at Early Summer Blast that we decided to do it again after Labor Day.

Space at the backwoods site is limited so we have to set a limit of ten tents.

Hope to see some old friends and make some new ones! :)

1.5 miles from the parking lot. A little hilly but not to bad. Actually, the Kentucky Lake side is rather hilly but the Barkley Lake side is relatively flat.

The last trip we did there was one of the best I've ever been on. Where we will be camping for this trip is right on the water. It's a great spot.

any trees to tent/hammock under or is the spot open and right on the water

Plenty of trees. The treeline goes down to about 15 feet from the water. There is a gravel beach on the lake front.

Bring your crocs. The gravel is smooth but a little rough on the feet getting out of the water.

Two spots left!
Looks like a great group! I'm excited!

On the last trip, Fifthmaster's boat motor broke so he had to rent a boat to meet us at the site. He got the motor fixed and is picking it up tomorrow. So, Randall, we can boat in your guitars. Hint! Hint!

I may section hike the north/south trail this weekend. I'm ready to get out but need to conserve money for my trip to Vegas in two weeks. So, Luke and I are thinking of heading to LBL Friday morning.

It'll be hot but we can cool off in the lake. I don't have a site picked out, we'll just stop when we get tired and find a flat spot.

TRIP IS FULL!
Keep your status updated!

We need to come up with a trail name for stokely.

Suggestions:
Vegie girl (Stokely vegetables)
Cream corn
Everready (always on the move, ready to go!)

Any other ideas?

Did you go back to our private campsite or the Moss Creek swimming area?

I thought about goin to LBL last weekend. It would have been cool to run in to you there.

Loved the trip report! That's what it's all about!
