Trailtalk Historic PreservationView MessagesViewing posts 1 to 4 of 4 messages posted.
“I have a question: Is there any way to retrieve all of my old posts easily? I know that I can look in the archives and search function, but is there some neat super-techie way to do this? I only ask because I have posted a lot of hike reports here at various times and I'd kind of like to throw them into a Word file to give to my kids or something. I also ask because, well, change is constant and the sale kind of reinforces the idea that I could wake up one morning and see some of that cool old content disappear. Anyway, thanks in advance. Oh, and someone needs to be the trailtalk historian.” 9:18:12 AM 6/24/07 “screw that nonsense, I am going to start knocking down threads to build my new internet superhighway right through the middle of Trail Talk before the Hysterical society gets formed.” 9:21:01 AM 6/24/07 “view your posts and hit alt-print scrn seriously... there are lots of apps you can use that will crawl a web site and download the content to your pc for "off-line browsing". google will dig them up. be aware that use of such software may be a violation of the terms of participation.” 9:32:19 AM 6/24/07 “I've saved a number of threads. Mostly from September 11th and 12th.” 11:05:22 AM 6/24/07
