first of all, youtube is a gigantic mondo super major website, one of the most popular of all time. theyre probably on the stock exchange. thebackpacker is just a piddly little website in a vast ocean of piddly little websites. you think they got tons o cash to throw around? tell you what, if itll shut you the fck up, ill give you 10 korean won for every goddamn pic you still got up. how bout that?

secondly, videos are pretty much the only content on youtube, while the content on this website is much more diversified. its got pictures, reviews, how-to sections, a trips page, an information and social network, etc. your pretty little pictures are just a small facet. this website will go on with or without you and any other ansel adams wannabe

thirdly, how selfish can you be? god forbid you should just share your experiences out of pure love for backpacking, no, you gotta soil it with your greed. youre no better than any other corporate fck
