Demand Media is making so much money on their other sites that they needed a tax write-off for the year of 2007. They paid a grossly inflated price for a worthless site with the knowledge that it will cost more to maintain it than it is worth. Ergo... until the profits for Demand Media fall, we are sitting pretty. But after that... the switch will simply be the "on/off" switch.
