Mmmm... cherries

“The whole fam-dam-ily is heading north to Traverse City, MI on Sunday to hang out on the beach, and take in the international cherry festival. Anybody ever been? I could use some suggestions for "must see/do" stuff besides North Manitou Island (I'm the only hiker in the group). We have rented a house for a whole week, and I am not much on shopping.”
