Sprint breaks up with high-maintenance customers
Posted by Marguerite Reardon

The squeaky wheel doesn't always get the grease.

At least not if the squeaky wheel is a Sprint Nextel customer. On June 29, 2007, Sprint sent letters notifying some customers that their service would be canceled by the end of July due to excessive calls to customer service.

[ that's one way to escape the early termination fee --- without having to move to another state or deploy to a war zone ]

I break up with high maintenance customers from time to time too. It's just business.

It cracked me up --- like the "Dear John letters from eHarmony" commercial.

Oh man!! That's a good idea, I'm going to start calling them every day! I can't wait to be done with Sprint. I've asked them to change what appears on the caller ID when I call about 52 times, and they still haven't. I also asked them to change my last name, and they changed my first name to what my last name now is, and my last name to my first name. Please people!! LOL.

That's pretty funny Lyra. I have a hyphenated last name, only for my mobile service. That was the best they could do. I decided that was good enough. Glad I did I could've ended up like you! (oh the humanity) =D

Don't you wonder why it is it's so hard for them to change stuff like that, Sass?? I'm waiting for the day 2-year contracts for phones are outlawed...you're basically at the mercy of whatever crappy customer service you get, and you can't do anything about it w/out paying out the wazoo! Bastards.
:-D

lyra....I had a problem with a company ...which shall remain nameless but it rhymes with RINGULAR.

Over the years I had accrued thousands of the "never go away" roll over minutes. Well I called for a "change" on my service and was told...we will just alter this on your CONTRACT.

A year later my minutes were GONE. I called and the goof with the company that rhymes with RINGULAR said<"OH they must have signed you up as a new contract..sorry those minutes are gone."

All I can do is tell my friends not to use the firm that rhymes with RINGULAR.

Okay I did screw them out of a potential tower site (LOL).
