gas adaptor
Hi,

Does anyone know were I can buy an adaptor with a male 1"X20 thread in a side (like your 16.4 oz cylinder) and a female thread EN417 (like our european canister, primus or coleman).
I own an american heater Coleman Survivalcat, that item isn't selling in France and in this time I'm not able to find on the net that adaptor.
How US trailers proceed in theirs travels?
Thank you for your help or your ideas.

we did this drill once already

Yes SuperTroll, but in my old post my goal was to refill your 16.4 oz cylinder but I hear what you said me and I don't that.
Now I seek an adaptor to use [b]our[b]european canisters like the coleman xtrem cat heater.

You might buy a 'pigtail' to fit the Coleman heater, a hose that will connect between the heater and Coleman bottle. Cut off the fitting that screws into the Coleman bottle, replace that one with a local one that fits a european bottle.

What is so special about the heater that you need to go through all this? Why not replace the heater with one which you can service and maintain in France?

In France we can't find several small heater for backpacking the only one is the coleman black cat (whith an adaptor, not selling alone), but he is heavy, to hot and large and he is able to run only 6/8 hours with our canister.
Your survivalcat is small et can run about 27 hours, his warm is enough for France
