The Building Was Kinda Goin To Hell...
...But, I didn't imagine a crater this size would open up right outside the front door!

We moved over into the heart of Times Square two months ago.

Yeah...
My wife lived at 38th and Lex...before we were married. We're glad we moved too (of course we've moved about 10 times since)!

Times Square? Well, if you ever meet fellow Times Squarian "CircleTimesSquare" from Kuro5hin.org, punch him in the nose for me.

It was literally right outside the door of the old building. You were there, Crash! I now work on the west side near 45th and Broadway.

Yes, Bear, regretably. Don't get me wrong. TS is stilla fascinating place. But, you are right. I has become "cookie-cutter" Disney owned fare. And exteeeeeemly expensive, I may add. Sigh, I do miss the old touch of sleaze, to be quite honest...

:) If the opportunity permits itself, I will take that under consideration, Mutt. However, I often have to walk in the street just to get to the subway. Tourists take up a lot of space!

And I'm sure a lot of people thought the same thing at first. I read people were driving the wrong way on one-way streets trying to get away.

I moved out of NYC in 1992. While there I lived on the Lower East Side on Clinton Street between Houstan and Stanton- a truck hit a fire hydrant and our basement was flooded and water out for 12 hours. I live in Nashville, Tn now- 10 yr anniversary.
