“I guess I am in the minority here. My ex and I have been able to put aside our differences for the sake of the kids. We don't disparage each other in front of the kids and we back each other up on stuff. We still spend Christmas Eve together with his family. He lives in California and I live in Virginia, so I think the distance helps with getting along.

Years ago, I heard an interview with Donny Osmond. He said its always important to keep dating your wife. It stayed with me and while I took it and him seriously, I still find it funny to quote wisdom from Donny Osmond.

While I am truly blessed to have an amazing wife, wonderful marriage and great step-kids, it would be better if my wife and the mother of my children were one and the same person.

He kept the kids an extra five weeks this summer so we slapped him with contempt and got the kids over Christmas this year along with some stiff fines. He appealed it but the appeal isnt done yet so he tried to get a master to overturn his bosses verdict in a conferance... The man is clueless. he even tried to get a weekend visit since he was in town....

I wont get into his other winning antics, I just think it is sad that his death would seriously improve his kids lives...”
