“Has anyone hiked the Columbine Lake Trail in August? I'm going with friends next week and wanted to know if the mosquitos are bad right now and how cold it might get above 9,000 feet.”

“I havn't been in that specific place, but the skeeters are still out - they'll be dropping off soon. It might get down in the high 30's (maybe even a little lower) but likely in the 40's at that elevation. Be prepared for cool temps though - it's hard to predict.”
