Last week we had an interim election for a congressman...the odds on favorite...a real GOOD OLD BOY lost by 300 votes to this Doctor from Athens....

He cast his first vote today....(remember he is a REPBULICAN)
today he broke ranks with the Bluebloods in the Republican party and VOTED to eliminate federal enforcement on Medical Marijuana use.....His logic was that medical MJ use is a STATES RIGHTS issue and not something the Federal Government should be involved with....HUH?

This is an issue that the true conservatives and the liberals can both agree on. It's the moderate conservatives who seem to be at odds with everyone. Not many issues like that it seems.

Another weird thing is the Libertarians and the moderate conservatives agree on a lot of stuff, but this one they don't.
