pine hills naature preserve T/RView MessagesViewing posts 1 to 2 of 2 messages posted.
“two words: don't bother. The whole trail can't be more thatn 2 miles, and for a nature preserve it is pretty scarred up. There are two backbones there but they are pretty short in length and height. One of which is severely scarred with carvings. Honeycomb rock was pretty cool. In general I found the trail confusing and poorly marked, and the map useless. There is no picknicking allowed, and any disposable containers are banned. You must stay on the mostly gravel path also. I was disappointed for the most part. SC or anyone else thinking of making a drive down to hike this may want to consider Turkey Run instead. It's bigger and more interesting in my opinion.” 6:18:12 PM 8/01/07 “Thanks mean green!” 6:32:04 PM 8/01/07
