Stupid Questions - Expected AnswersView Messages“From my recollection, and it has been a long time, Miller Lite and pig swill have many things in common. No, I will not tell how I know what pig swill tastes like. Every one needs some level of mystery about them.” 5:45:23 AM 8/04/07 “Life is to short to waste it drinking miller lite.....” 6:53:24 AM 8/04/07 “One of my daughters paper route customers is a case store. In PA these stores can only sell beer in cases, if you want anything less you have to go to the local tavern/pizza shop. I happened to see a case of Miller Lite as I left the paper this morning... For lousy beer that stuff is wicked pricey.” 6:59:12 AM 8/04/07 “I've never been a big Miller fan personally but they had a brewery about 10 miles away from me and they just up and left, practically devastating the community. So I guess Miller has left a bad taste in mouth in more ways than one. My dad had a 72 Plymouth Fury that I always wished he would have kept till I got my license but by 1980 we had a Chrysler LeBaron...not as cool to drive to school....or trailheads for that matter. God I loved that Fury!!!” 7:01:59 AM 8/04/07 “At one point we owned a 1973 Dodge Swinger... \can you say "POS"....? I knew you could. Ugh it was awful.” 7:13:26 AM 8/04/07 “I remember growing up with my grandparents, they had a puke green old beater car---I so don't remember the make or model, but I used to call it the bucket of bolts or something...thanks for the memory, I had forgotten about that!” 7:20:37 AM 8/04/07 “I also owned a brown Ford Pinto at one time. That was right after getting rid of my tan colored Comet with brown front fenders and a white hood.I gave 125.00 for it, drove it for two years and sold it for 200.00” 7:36:54 AM 8/04/07 “my first car was a 1971 ford pinto. my dad wanted to make it new for me so he spray painted it blue... powder blue... non-gloss paint. it start to grow mold. i loved that car.” 12:23:15 PM 8/04/07 12:52:58 PM 8/04/07 “1951 chevy, then a 1948 MGTC. Good thing I kept the 51 so I had transportation.” 1:48:27 PM 8/04/07 “I had a college prof who owned a Lotus and an MGB. It was difficult to know which one would be in the shop at any given time. They were both shop hounds.” 1:53:16 PM 8/04/07 “My first car when I was 16 was a 1968 Ford Custom 500. She had 42,000 miles on it, and I bought it for $1200 in 1986. It only had an AM radio, but I didn't care. I had my own wheels and didn't have to ride the bus to school anymore. Then 6 weeks after I got it, I totaled it taking a 90-degree curve on a country road way too fast. My wheels hit the soft shoulder, and then the car flipped and landed upside down in the ditch. I don't knwo how, but my girlfriend and I were able to crawl out of the debris on our hands and knees with the only injuries being cuts on our hands from the broken glass. Ahh, stupid stupid girl I was.” 3:34:51 PM 8/04/07 “My first car was an '84 Mercury Capri (the Mercury version of the Mustang) that I bought for $400. It had 46,000 on it, but I think the odometer had gone around once or twice. It had the same 4 cylinder engine as the Pinto. The car was the biggest POS and would break down at least once or twice a week. I was always going to switch the letters on the hood from CAPR (it was missing the I) to CRAP, but never got the chance. After having the car for less than 3 months I blew the head gasket between cylinders 1 & 2 and burned out the valves on cylinder #3. I ended up having to get a tow to the junkyard.” 11:12:46 AM 8/05/07 “I knew a guy who had a Comet ---- He called it The Vomit.” 11:24:20 AM 8/05/07
