Grand Canyon hike on a cool month of Oct. 5th
I done few hikes...most are strenuous hike. Mt. San Jacinto from the 300ft up to 10,800ft and San Gongonio from vivian creek to the peak. Mt. Whitney on my birthday. I thought I would be looking to hike R2R. Have never done that before. My plan is to hike from South Rim to North Rim and have car-shuttle on the North Rim and drive to Mt. Zion for over-nite fun and tour second day at Mt. Zion. I'd see if someone could give me some input on that?

I am reserved a group campsite. However, most of us just want to have easy time tour around the South Rim and enjoy the guided tour with local rangers.

The less strenuous hike would be going down from Kaibab trail loop to bright Angel trail..total 15 miles. One of guy in my group are leading that hike.

So we have beginner, moderate and advance total fun group. Plus plan to cook out a good camp food together. If you like to come and join and bring your family, you are more than welcome! Just let me know advance. Thank you! Lili :)
