Man, I quit ddrinking coffee for a while and stopped on my way to work this morning and grabbed a cup. Holy crap!!! I can't sit still! I used to drink like almost 2 pots every day, but have quit all together for a while. I can't believe the difference in effect. Talk about addiction and a tollerance level. Man this is reallly weird !

Oh ya. There were head aches. I dodn't just go from 2 pots to nothing though. I cut it back slowly till I was down to nothing. I'm still pretty wired but the crash is gonna be bad, I can tell already.

I've treid very hard to leave pop alone, but in the end, I always lose. I'm so addicted.

It wasn't really a conscious thing. I just sort of drifted away from it and started drinking more water instead. I am drinking about 2 liters of water each day around the office, and 3-4 on my days off when I'm active. Man that 20oz really hit me this morning.

Coffee just works for me on every level. Never had a problem with or without it. Other substances have brought me grief over the years, but not java.

I did an expiriment last year at work one morning and drank a whole pot of coffee myself.....

Now my coworkers hide the coffee pot if they know I'm going to be working with them.

I can't possibly immagine why.

How could anyone have a problem with you drinking an entire pot of coffee?

MG, thats cool that it was so easy for you. I never realized how much caffeine I consumed. Morning are a bit lack luster with just water ( I dont want to replace it with another hot bev, no reason though). I drink loads of water through the day already.

SC< I cannot imagine you after drinking a pot of coffee. Scary, :)

I was fortunate on that one. A couple years ago when I was in Sales I tried to quit once of twice and it was as hard as smoking only I got headaches to go along with it all. Needless to say all attempts were short lived failures.

I'm leveled off at just one or two cups a day now. It's just right.

FYI:
Dean is now passing just south of the Blue Mountain (if you thought that Jamaican coffee was nutso expensive before....).
